Release notes: 12 October 2020

  • Flexible setup of user role definitions has received an upgrade, allowing you to restrict a group of users to using no more than the set of functionality they require. Case in point is the Asset Vendor role, which allows external vendors to upload e.g. video assets – these are then flagged for review and can be made available within the general pool of assets after explicit approval.
  • A proof of concept for clipping of video assets was developed. Once completed, this will provide the possibility, within an asset self-service context, of allowing clients to set their own in and out points, ordering a clipped asset and receiving the custom asset automatically as a download.
