Define Source Language:

A source language must be defined first to enable automated subtitle generation. 

 

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search or filter to find the relevant video asset
  3. Select the asset to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Go to the Audio tab to review the source audio details
  6. If the correct language is listed under the audio track, proceed to Generate Subtitles
  7. If the audio track shows No languages or an incorrect source language, click the three-dot settings menu next the the audio track
  8. Select Edit
  9. Scroll down to the Languages field
  10. Select a language from the list
  11. Click Save to finish

Present Content via the iOS Mobile App:

Share MediaStore app content with an external screen using one of the following methods.

 

To cast via Apple TV:

  1. Place the iOS device and Apple TV close together
  2. On Apple TV, go to Settings > AirPlay and HomeKit and set Allow Access to Everyone
  3. On the iOS device, open the system tray and ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled
  4. Re-open the system tray, tap Screen Mirroring1, and select Apple TV
  5. To stop streaming, open Screen Mirroring and tap Stop Broadcasting

To cast via HDMI cable:

  1. Connect your mobile device to the external screen using an HDMI cable and any required adapter

 

AirPlay or Chromecast casting is not enabled by default due to MediaStore’s secured streaming architecture. Please contact the team at support@mediafellows.com. if you require this functionality.

Manage iOS Mobile App Settings:

Some settings can be managed in the mobile app. For anything not listed below, please use the Admin UI web interface. 

 

  1. Log in to the MediaStore app on your iOS device
  2. From the Home screen, tap the profile icon 👤
  3. Tap Settings to review or update download and display settings as below:

  3. Tap Profile to review or update your name, contact number, and preferred programming/genres
  4. Tap Password to change your password

Access Mobile Selections in the iOS Mobile App:

Mobile Selections are playlists of content that can be downloaded and synced across multiple devices — ideal for sales agents needing offline access at in-person events and markets.

To create a new Mobile Selection via the Admin UI web interface, see Create a Mobile Selection.
To access an existing Mobile Selection1 via the MediaStore mobile app, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Log in to the MediaStore app on your iOS device
  2. Tap Downloads at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap the Selections tab at the top of the screen
  4. Tap the mobile selection title for full details, or the sync icon 🔄 to download for offline use2
  5. Check the sync status with the date it was last synced and whether the Mobile Selection has been updated
  6. Go to Mobile Selections or Downloads to review synced content
  7. Swipe down on the Mobile Selections page to refresh with content updates from the Admin UI

 

 


1 Please note that access will be set in the Admin UI, and only mobile selections with access settings visible to the user will be available on the mobile app. See Review and Edit Mobile Selections to update access.

2 Downloaded content is stored securely and can only be accessed within the MediaStore app. However, it still uses your device’s storage space.

Download Content in the iOS Mobile App for Offline Use:

Downloaded content uses device storage space, but is securely encrypted and can only be accessed within the MediaStore app.

 

  1. Log in to the MediaStore app on your iOS device
  2. Scroll or search to find the relevant product
  3. Select the product
  4. Go to the Screener or Trailer tab 
  5. Tap the download icon ⬇️ next to the video asset you want to download1
  6. Tap Downloads at the bottom of the screen to view downloaded content

     Download expiration is 30 days as standard. To reset, select Renew All at the top of the screen.2

     7. To remove from downloads, tap an asset and select the delete icon 🗑️3

 

 


1 Please ensure you have a stable internet connection during download.

2 Expiry reset is unavailable if the full time limit is still remaining.

3 The asset will remain in the content library.

Share a Product via Recommendations in the iOS Mobile App:

  1. Log in to the MediaStore app on your iOS device
  2. Scroll or search to find the relevant product
  3. Select the product
  4. Tap the share icon ⬆️ at the top right of the product screen
  5. Edit Subject and Message fields for your recommendation email
  6. Tap Recipients to search and add contacts from MediaStore1
  7. Tap back when you have finished adding recipients
  8. Tap Expires at date to edit

     Optional:

  • tap Allowed views to set how many times the recipient can view the product
  • tap Require login/register to allow access without logging in 
  • tap an asset to deselect it from the recommendation 
  1. Tap Send to finish

     

 


1 Emails are sent individually with no visibility of other recipients.

Access Your MediaStore Account via the iOS Mobile App:

Access to the MediaStore app is an additional feature and requires activation by our team prior to login.

 

  1. Open the MediaStore app
  2. Enter your MediaStore website URL in the Domain field
  3. Enter your email address in the Login field
  4. Enter your web login password in the Password field1
  5. Tap Continue

 

 


1 Please note: this is the same password you use for your MediaStore website. No separate password is needed for the app.

Installing the iOS Mobile App:

The standard MediaStore app is currently available for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone and Apple TV). 

 

  1. Click this link, or open the App Store on your iOS device and search for mediafellows
  2. Scroll to and select MediaStore Generic App
  3. Tap Get to download
