Alongside General<\/em> Groups, there may be other sub-types of Groups<\/a> – these merely serve to organize Groups by different purposes, but the actual Groups will handle the same.<\/p>\n In summary, the following actions are available; please see further below for more information on how to create and populate Groups:<\/p>\n In the Groups sections, various tools let you review and manage Groups<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n Go to a Groups <\/em>subsection and click Add New <\/em>to create a new Group. After creation, your Group will be empty of Users, Products and Assets; to use it, please populate the Group as needed (see below), and bear in mind that the default Access level is Company<\/em>.<\/p>\n Creating a Group is as easy as choosing a name and saving<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n To add a Product<\/strong> to a Group, open the Group’s detail view and click Add<\/em> in the Products<\/em> tab:<\/p>\n <\/i>For example, selecting\u00a0Add product(s) including descendants<\/em> on a Series will also add all its Seasons and Episodes. In this case, should you selectively need to add only some of its Seasons or Episodes, please select them individually.<\/p>\n <\/i>Alternatively, you can add Products to a Group by choosing the Add To Group<\/em> Action from within Product management.<\/p>\n Various options are available when adding a Product to a Group<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n To add an Asset<\/strong> to a Group, open the Group’s detail view and click Add<\/em> in the Assets<\/em> tab:<\/p>\n <\/i>If you’ve already added a Product an Asset is assigned to while using the Apply Access level to assigned Assets<\/em> option (see above), there is no need to add the Product’s Assets individually.<\/p>\n <\/i>Alternatively, you can add Assets to a Group by choosing the Add To Group<\/em> Action from within Asset management.<\/p>\n <\/i>Adding an individual Asset can be useful, for example, to grant some Users access to exclusive screeners which are Private<\/em> Assets but assigned to a Product which, as such, is Viewable<\/em>.<\/p>\n To add an Asset, simply select it and choose its Group-wide Access<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n To add a User<\/strong> to a Group, open the Group’s detail view and click Add<\/em> in the Users<\/em> tab:<\/p>\n <\/i>If you’ve already added the User’s associated Organization (see below), there is no need to add the User individually.<\/p>\n <\/i>Alternatively, you can add User to a Group by choosing the Add To Group<\/em> Action on a User within User management.<\/p>\n\n
