Secure your content with DRM, forensic watermarking, geo-IP restrictions and casting prevention, safeguarding content from unauthorized access and distribution.
These protections can be set globally — applied to all videos in your MediaStore catalog — or flexibly, asset by asset.
To add protections to all videos:
- In the navigation sidebar, go to Settings > Affiliation
- Go to the Protections tab
- Click the edit icon
Optional:
- Enable DRM
— encrypts videos, blocking copying and screen capture - Enable Casting Prevention
— blocks content from being shared via local network protocols - Enable Forensic Watermarking
— adds an invisible, unique identifier that cannot be stripped from the video - Enable GeoIP
— blocks streaming in specific countries
9. Click the save icon 
to finish
To add protections to a specific video:
- In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
- Scroll, search or filter to find the relevant video asset
- Select the asset to open a preview*
- In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
- Go to the Protections tab
- Click the edit icon
