Descendant products, such as episodes in a series, are accessible only via a tab on the parent product’s Details page and do not appear on the main Products page.1

To reorder descendants:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Products > All Products
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the relevant product
  3. Select the product to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Go to the descendant tab (Seasons, Episodes, Episode Versions or Film Versions) to review
  6. Click the green Sort button
  7. Drag and drop to adjust the order
  8. Click Save to finish

To edit descendants’ metadata:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Products > All Products
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the relevant product
  3. Select the product to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Go to the descendant tab (Seasons, Episodes, Episode Versions or Film Versions) to review
  6. Click the descendant title
  7. Go to the Metadata tab to review existing descendant metadata
  8. Click the edit icon ✏️ to make updates directly in the text fields
  9. Click the save icon  💾 to finish

 

From the descendant detail pages, you can also add an asset, review analytics and activity timeline, and assign cast & crew.

 

 

1 To view all products, including descendants, in the main Products page, disable Show parent products only in the search filter.
