You may want to assign some assets as sub-assets of another — for example, audio tracks linked to a specific screener version.

 

To assign a sub-asset:

  1. In the sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the asset you want to assign as a sub-asset1
  3. Click the three-dot menu next to that asset
  4. Select Assign Parents
  5. In the Parent Asset field, select the main asset from your MediaStore library

      Optional:

  • add more sub-assets using the Sub-Asset field

     6. Click Assign to finish

To unassign from a parent asset:

  1. In the sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the parent asset you wish to remove a sub-asset from
  3. Select the asset to open a preview
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Go to the Subtitles, Ads or Audio tabs depending on the sub-asset type
  6. Click the three-dot settings menu next to the relevant sub-asset
  7. Select Unassign from Asset to finish
