You may want to assign some assets as sub-assets of another — for example, audio tracks linked to a specific screener version.
To assign a sub-asset:
- In the sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
- Scroll, search, or filter to find the asset you want to assign as a sub-asset1
- Click the three-dot menu next to that asset
- Select Assign Parents
- In the Parent Asset field, select the main asset from your MediaStore library
Optional:
- add more sub-assets using the Sub-Asset field
6. Click Assign to finish
To unassign from a parent asset:
- In the sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
- Scroll, search, or filter to find the parent asset you wish to remove a sub-asset from
- Select the asset to open a preview
- In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
- Go to the Subtitles, Ads or Audio tabs depending on the sub-asset type
- Click the three-dot settings menu next to the relevant sub-asset
- Select Unassign from Asset to finish
