Duplicate an Asset Selection:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > Selections
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the asset Selection you want to duplicate
  3. Click the three-dot settings menu next to the selection name
  4. Click Copy
  5. Choose a contact to be responsible for the copied asset selection
  6. Click Submit to finish

 

To rename and edit your duplicated asset selection, follow the steps in Edit Asset Selections.

Delete an Asset Selection:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Asset > Selections
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the asset Selection you want to delete
  3. Select the three-dot settings menu to the right of the Selection name
  4. Click Delete and Confirm to finish

Edit Asset Selections:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Asset > Selections
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find your asset Selection
  3. Select an asset Selection to open the preview panel*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details 
  5. Click the edit icon ✏️in the toolbar to rename the asset Selection, then click the save icon 💾 to confirm
  6. To add additional assets, click the three-dot settings menu in the toolbar to Add to this Selection
  7. Click the three-dot settings menu next to an asset to Remove From Selection

Manage Access to an Asset Selection:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > Selections
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find your asset Selection
  3. Click the three-dot settings menu next to the asset Selection name*
  4. Select Change Access
  5. Click the field and choose an option from the dropdown menu
  6. Click Confirm to save your changes

Create an Asset Selection:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find an asset you want to add to your selection
  3. Click the three-dot settings menu to the right of the asset name
  4. Select Create selection
  5. Name your selection and choose its access visibility

    Optional: 
  • click the Assets field to add more assets from the dropdown menu

Review Asset Artifacts:

Artifacts are auto-generated files created by the system for audiovisual content (e.g., streaming screeners, preview thumbnails, etc.). 

Please Note: The Artifacts tab appears in the details panel for relevant file types only. 

 

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search or filter to find the asset you want to review
  3. Select the asset to open the preview panel*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details 
  5. Go to the Artifacts tab to review

Review Asset Activity Timeline & Workflow:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search or filter to find the asset you want to review
  3. Select the asset to open the preview panel*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details 
  5. Go to the Timeline tab to review all user updates
  6. Go to the Workflow tab to review all system processing (e.g., ingest)

Assign an Asset to a Product:

It is also possible to assign a product to an asset via the Product section: see Add an Asset to a Product.

 

To assign an asset to a product(s):

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find your asset
  3. Select it to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Select + Assign
  6. Choose desired products in the Search products field

      Optional:

  • select Use as Marketing Asset 1
  • select Assign to product(s) and descendants to add to related products (e.g., all episodes in a season)
  1. Click Assign to finish

To remove the current product assignment:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find your asset
  3. Select it to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Review currently assigned products in the Products tab
  6. Click the three-dot settings menu to the right of the asset title
  7. Select Unassign

Review and Edit Asset Metadata:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the relevant asset
  3. Select the asset to open a preview*
  4. In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
  5. Go to the Metadata tab to review existing asset metadata
  6. Click the edit icon ✏️ to make updates directly in the text fields
  7. Click the save icon  💾 to finish

Restore a Deleted or Archived Asset:

Archived assets have been moved it to long-term storage. The assets remain instantly accessible and visible in the All Assets list, but not in the Client UI.
You can view details and stream in the Admin UI, but they
cannot be downloaded until restored.

Deleted assets are removed from the All Assets list and the Client UI, but keeps it in a soft-deleted and recoverable state.
All deleted assets can be found by enabling the
Include Deleted filter in the Admin UI. However, they cannot be viewed, streamed, or downloaded until restored.

 

To restore a deleted asset:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll down the filter options on the right and enable Include deleted

Deleted assets will appear with a strikethrough and can be searched/filtered

  1. Click the three-dot settings menu to the right of the asset name
  2. Click Restore to finish

To restore an archived asset:

  1. In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
  2. Scroll, search, or filter to find the asset you want to archive

Archived assets will appear dimmed on the asset list with a frozen icon ❄️ to indicate status

  1. Click the three-dot settings menu to the right of the asset name
  2. Select Unarchive to finish
